HCHW – A.P. has organized a Statewide Campaign on Child Rights, with the theme Fly Kites for Child Rights. The campaign has merged the awareness of child rights with fun and frolic of Sankranthi festivity of flying kites. The campaign was organized on 14th January 2004 in 17 districts of Andhra Pradesh by our network partners in a similar manner. Sri. Mohd. Rafiuddin, Founder President and Director of HCHW-A.P., had stressed upon the need for promotion and advocating of the child rights in various quarters of society. Sri. R.P.Singh, I.P.S., Commissioner of Police has formally inaugurated the campaign in Hyderabad by flying a Kite. Many celebrities who took part in the campaign have interacted with children and pledged their support and solidarity to the cause of Child Rights.
